Evidence Analysis Library, American Dietetic AssociationThis Topics section of the EAL® is still under development.

For each Evidence Analysis project that appears on the EAL®, the specific topics (questions) are prioritized by the expert work groups. The conclusion statements (answers to these questions) are published on the EAL® following a systematic review of the research that is synthesized into a narrative summary with an overview table. Additionally, each article included in the review is abstracted in a worksheet. The worksheets, overview tables, narrative summaries, search plan and results, conclusion statement can all be found in the online ADA Evidence Analysis Library®.

However, there are additional topics identified by the expert work groups that are not part of the project because of the constraints of time, budget, and resources. In this section, a page is being added for each of the Evidence Analysis Projects found in the American Dietetic Association Evidence Analysis Library® to list all the topics identified by the expert work groups.

Select the project from the list on the left menu bar.

For each project, you will find:

  • a link to the list of Topics and Questions already published on the EAL
  • a list of Potential Topics to consider adding to the project when resources become available

Note: If your organization (Dietetic Practice Group, Non-profit organization, or industry) would be interested in funding the evidence analysis for any of the potential topics, please contact Kay Howarter at khowarter@eatright.org

Contact us to suggest a topic you would like to see added to the EAL®

Note: The lists of topics and questions are available to everyone (public); but the links to the conclusion statements (answers to the questions)/grades/evidence summaries/overview tables/search plans & results/ articles abstracted onto worksheets and quality checklists are accessible only by EAL subscribers and ADA members.
